With over 40 years experience in the Baking Industry, New Horizons Baking Company is dedicated to supplying quality bakery products to the largest Quick Service Restaurant in the World as well as several other select customers. New Horizons Baking Company was established in 1967 as West Baking Company. The 56,000 square foot facility has an automated high-speed bun line with the capability of producing over 3,960 dozens buns per hour and English muffins at a rate of 1,650 dozens per hour.

A second plant located in Fremont, IN was built in 1979 to supplement the growing needs of our customers. This 56,000 square foot facility produces the same high quality hamburger buns at a rate of 4,600 dozen buns per hour and English muffins at a rate of 2,180 dozens per hour. Each facility is equipped with the latest technology and equipment available in the industry and serves in total over 1,300 restaurants across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia, Erie PA, Pittsburgh PA and Buffalo, NY.

While New Horizons is proud of its quality products, it is equally proud of its “Superior” ratings and certifications with the following organizations: AIB, HACCP, SQF, Food Defense and Pest Control. Quality, Cleanliness and Food Safety are of the utmost importance at New Horizons Baking Company.

A member of the Northern Ohio Minority Business Council, New Horizons Baking Company does not want to be known only as a Minority Owned Business but as strong, growing, ethically sound and profitable business managed with sound judgement, integrity and honesty.

Tilmon (Tim) Brown has been the Owner of New Horizons Baking Company since 1995 along with his partners John Paterakis and Peter Grimm. Tim Brown has and continues to provide phenomenal leadership.
